General American Male Accent VA Available for hire- email: [email protected]
For as long as I can remember I’ve always wanted to act in some capacity. I got involved with the stage from a young age working in kids productions. After that I was involved in every school production, chorus, chamber & show choirs that could be offered. I performed in most of my communities local theaters starting with youth on stage and quickly transitioning to predominately adult productions.
Then I made the move to classical theatre working on numerous Shakespeare productions helping form and being part of a New “In The Parks” circuit in Long Island, NY. I’ve worked on many students films, taught improv briefly, have done dinner theatre, haunted houses/ corn mazes, have been used as an extra in film and have done all the behind the scenes work as well.
I’ve also dabbled as a metal vocalist and am a self taught death and black metal growler, I still practice but I work more on my clean vocals nowadays.
I had a brief period where I put my dreams on hold when I was consumed by my Hotel Management role (so I know customer service well). From there I slowly developed a real interest in voiceover consuming every bit of knowledge possible and decided THIS is what I want to do!
Since then I have spent countless hours studying, learning and practicing my craft. I’m always learning something new and improving my skills. This is something I’d wish to pursue as my main gig and career.
I also have a Youtube/Soundcloud account I post on here and there when I have a funny idea, good script and so on. Be sure to check them out and see what I’m capable of. I’m always working on something creative even when it’s not in front of the mic.
I’ve worked on various projects from animated characters, fan fictions/content, commercials, product demo/overviews, character voices, narrations and audiobooks for past clients. Always eager to try something new or bring a simple script to life. I hope we get to work together soon!
I typically record the RAW audio on my iPad via garageband using an iRig 1K as my interface, a galaxy tablet for my teleprompter and do any post processing on my computer via Audacity to have a noiseless recording setup.
Sennheiser MK 4 with MKS 4 Shock-Mount.
The MK 4 which uses similar parts as the Neumann’s making this a High Quality Microphone for Voiceover with a bulkier design.
I record in my home studio using Audimute Acoustic & Isole Sound Blankets to create a crisp and well treated environment for my voiceover work.
I use an iRig 1K Pro as my audio interface, which is great since it works with instruments as well.
This was an audition I created for this National Voiceover Competition in November 2021. This submission was selected from over 1800 applicants as the Honorable Mention for “Best Newby Male” Voiceover Talent.
